Check out this dash
I took these pictures at the last Pomona Swap Meet ..this guy did a cool job of grafting a 1960 Impala dash in a truck. and yes I know I suck as a photographer.

Re: Check out this dash
I saw that on a dark red GMC YEARS ago. It had a lime green powdercoated frame. I had a pic of that thing on my wall in High school, I loved that dash.

Some like it smooth,I guess? They`re both nice.I would have, and this is just my opinion, liked to see the stock steering wheel on that teal truck.

I like both!. They must be pretty close to the same length as our trucks.

Re: Check out this dash
I remember seeing this trick looking guage cluster housing that fit into the original dash in some magazine. They also made them for camaros and other cars. I cant remember what the company was called that made them though.

Re: Check out this dash
Here are photos of the dash that board-member "SOMAD" is putting in his 'burb. (Formerly Ghetocruizer).
He likes it smooth, so he is installing an under-dash brake setup and completely smoothing the firewall. Plus this dash is smooth as well. Different year dash, but still going to be VERY trick.

Re: Check out this dash
Putter, do you know if he is planning to carry the "body line" (for lack of a better term) over onto the doors?

Re: Check out this dash
I would like to know what seats are in the green one (out of what ??)
I like the setup in general. I think it complements the truck much more than stock, gives it almost a modern look!

Re: Check out this dash
The one Putter posted looks like a 57 Chevy. I think it looks great, better than a late model truck dash in a 67-72.
