Looks like the 70-79 Camaro tach swap.

Yep thats definately the camaro tach from the 70's. I threw in a picture of my dash with the white gauge overlays from druangedesign.com They make one for the truck gauges, and the camaro gauges, so they came together nicely

You need to cut a little off the lip of the tach in 2 places so that the stock lights will light up the face. The tach itself has no light. As stated by Putter,on the needle.

Here,I found one just for You.
I bought 2 off of ebay, one like pictured and one that has a lower red line. One was $45 and the other was $25.I think the tachs with the orange and black round needle are from 70-73.The straight orange needle is 74+.The one in the link was for a z28.

Re: Could someone id this non-factory tach in the dash?

If it is anything like my Autometer ProComp tach, it will simply remain in what ever position it's in when you remove power (shut off the key). If I am revving at 750, then it stays there until I reapply power....if I am at 2000, it will stay there also.
I am about to add a retained power circuit to keep power there for a few extra seconds after I kill it to drop it back to zero every time.

That's strange as my Pro-comp tach always returns to zero...

Unless it was above 5K at the time.
