The Perfect DROP!!!
I want to drop my 69 and 72. Were the fender is right on top of the tires. The rims I want to get are 17" and was thinking about a 4/6drop. What does any one think?

Re: The Perfect DROP!!!
I put a 4.5/5 drop on mine and plan on getting 17s too. I think a little more would have looked better, maybe a 6/7. I think i will have a small gap b/w my tires and fender.

Re: The Perfect DROP!!!
Finding the perfect drop is like finding the meaning of life. Anyways, in your case you have to consider the size tires you're going to go with. There is a good thread that shows pictures of several wheel/tire/drop combinations. The thread is on the very first page of 67-72 chevy message board. It has several stars on it. Good luck

Re: The Perfect DROP!!!
Here's somewhat of a reference point for you. 4.5" drop up front, 5.5" out back. 20x8.5" wheels with 5.25" backspacing running 1.5" spacers in back.
Tires are 255/35/20. I like a little rake and it came out exactly how I wanted.
