Re: Gas Filler door

A 73-77 shouldn't have a door. It should be exposed with a round cap. There should be bolts on the inside of the door/bed holding the door on.

Re: Gas Filler door

There was no door from 1973-1977. I can absolutely assure you. That part listing is a general one, it proves nothing. There is no door on a 1973-77 bedside, period. You have to remove the filler to get the door off.

Re: Gas Filler door

If yours has a door, the bed was probably swapped out for a later one. The earlier ones were more prone to rust, and they are a direct swap. It probably happened a lot.
