shortbed truck frame=blazer frame?

I have been working on a frame off restoration really from the ground up, i got the frame and all that goes with it just about complete. Are the frames from a shortbed truck the same as a Blazer frame? i got all this done but i am not close at all with the body part. now i found a blazer thats body really isnt in that bad of shape and i thought i might be able to put this all together. is it possible? Any help would be great. thanks

No, the blazer frame has an 11" shorter wheel base.

Where are you located? Is it 4wd or 2wd?I ask because maybe you could sell your frame. You could cut and shorten yours, but I`d try to go with a virgin frame.

Re: shortbed truck frame=blazer frame?

yeah, i havnt been on alot, im in upstate new york, the whole thing is together so im gonna stay with the truck frame......
so far the truck is a powder coated frame, with all the lowering goodies, stainless brake line fuel etc. procharged small block nwith forged balanced internals.....its a little overkill nfor the ruck but itll be fun
