metal work on tv. trucks!
I was watching a show called trucks a while back. the guy on there said there was a company that sold metal cut outs to shave everything on the 67 - 72 chevy truck. (door handles, sidemakers, stuff like that). does anyone know the name of the company or a website that might have them.

Re: metal work on tv. trucks!
I don't think Turner is selling things anymore, I've heard people say he is really hard to get a hold of now.

Re: metal work on tv. trucks!
Now please do not take this the wrong way but if you can not make these parts it is probly not a good idea for you to be welding them in. I say this because I have had to fix way to much work that guys thought they could do and found out the hard way they could not. It is not a good idea to try learning on a truck body with so many slight curved areas that will warp before you know it.
But if you want to try it, I would just take an old door and cut the pieces out for the corisponding area that you need. This way you have the right curves for the filler pieces you want. One door should get you the metal you would need for the marker lights, doors handle fill-ins and some extra to play with. Kevin |

Re: metal work on tv. trucks!
I've heard alot of people say some bad things about his stuff. I ordered the kit with all the metal pieces to shave my truck from him a while back and was not impressed with the fit at all. I wish I would have made them myself with the time I spent fixing his.
