Exclamation The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

Not mine, but I knew that there were members out there who have been interested in these and wanted to buy one. This one looks like it has a short bed on it.

I agree, I have seen others that were much better looking, the ones with doors on both sides. But this one isn't all that sweet, maybe with alot of metal fab work.......

I was talking about the '71, but that does look pretty sweet... is that based on an impala or malibu?

Neither Holden Ute. There is a whole racing series with these things against rival FERD. http://www.hsv.com.au/cars/vz/main.a...n/maloor8.html

Re: The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

I don't find this particular truck to be attractive, I would rather see a burb conversion like Project Penicillin. Even if it was only an extended cab and not a crew cab, the lines of the burb door make for a better extension than a regular cab.

My .02 What do I know I only teach design.
