Raymore is North of the North Dakota/Montana state lines.

are you looking for a 2wd or 4wd?

You may want to PM teeitup. If he has one I may be heading that way in a few weeks, I could get it up to Brookings for you. Maybe even into North Dakota.

I'm pretty far from you but I've got an excellent LWB frame that could be cut down into a SWB.

Re: Looking For SWB In Canada or Northern US

I went to have my lwb cut down into a swb, and the welder said our government run vehicle insurance will not allow cut down frames to be covered anymore. In English if you get in an accident and they see a spliced frame, you are hooped. I haven't called and checked this myself, but the guy that told me this was doing quite a few frames and I couldn't see him stopping unless there was a valid reason.

There is a 2 wheel drive 71 shortbox frame locally with a cab, disc brake front end and rear diff. Has papers but he wants around $900.00 for it and I am a ways a way from you as well.

Not too surprised to hear that, in Quebec you can't even register a vehicle that has any welding done on the frame. I wonder if they get grumpy if you box the frame.

Anyways, didn't want to hijack Blue85's thread.
