Pulled the cab off today

Just thought I would show a pic of my "day off" from work progress.

Its a 1972 Chev C10 Shorty project, It's got dropped spindles, and rear coil overs all which had been installed by the late LeRoy.

By Mid summer, I hope to have it bright yellow, and pushed by a mean 396.

What kind of rope did you use? Is that a motor cherry picker too?

Re: Pulled the cab off today

It was cool to me watching mine come off.

It sure helps with some of the cleanup and work for sure with it off the frame. Good luck and keep the pictures coming on the progress.

Re: Pulled the cab off today

Engine Hoists are awesome. A one man show.

Davidh, as for my rope, Nothin special, just an old rope laying around the place, about a 3/8" dia

Good Eye HeavyD, I had to back out my 1967 Fairlane 390 factory 4 speed out of the shop to make some room. I guess I am a Old Chevy Truck nut and and Old Ford Car nut, is this possible?

Yep, I am the same way...I get bugged constantly by people for not just picking one brand or the other, but I like what I like.
