Clutch question
Looks like the "new" 67 needs a clutch, its slipping pretty bad. I looked online to order one and they give the option of 10", 11" and 12" Without tearing this down and measuring is there any way to tell what size clutch disk I should have? It is a 67 with a straight 6 and 3 on the column. Dont have many other details yet.

My guess would be a 10" clutch on the 6 cyl /3 spd........but I wouldnt order on a guess! if you pull the inspec cover on the bottom of the bell, the smaller set up will have approx 1" from the edge of the press plate to the edge of the fly wheel. the 11 & 12" setups will both bolt to the same flywheel,& will have the bolts about all the way out to the edge of the flywheel. good luck....Al

You may want to have the flywheel resurfaced and also check the ring gear for damage, this can be flipped or replaced easily at this time.

Do not install a new clutch disc without having the flywheel resurfaced.
