Loosing it's 70's appeal.....

Well on the plan for this coming weekend I'm going to start pulling the interior out and looking for more rust....hopefully won't find any.

If you can find another bench, I would try and sell that one. It woul look nice in an old Hot Rod. Post that photo on HAMB for sale board and take best offers. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/cgi-bin...=45&LastLogin=

Several people who've seen the truck think I should leave the diamond tuck, but I really want to go with late model bucket seats. My uncle use to restore cars for a living then he got into custom interiors, he won several world of wheels awards, so I got him talked into doing the interior when the time comes. Of course it's going to cost me, he said he'd trade it out for help on his 31 Chevy. He also wants the existing bench seat. One thing I can't figure out is the door panels have faded, but the seat hasn't. There the exact same material, but I guess it possible the seat was redone a second time do to abuse.

I'll bet that if you slide your butt across those panels a couple times a day they'll look just as good as your seat

The trucks white/Maroon/white. It may not be the correct color, the original owner had it repainted because of an unfortunate hunting accident. Come to think of it the paint matches on the inside of fenders and the interior so it must be the correct color.

You wouldn't have the paint code for the interior? That's what mine is,need it for some touch up.
