wtb 1946 chevy frame
I have a 1947 GMC which is like the 1946 Chevys. I screwed up when i ordered the new stepside and got a chevy not knowing the chevy and GMC wheelbases are different. So anyone have a 1946 chevy frame or know anyone good at shorting a frame in IL???

How much different is it.
I didn't think there was a difference in the wb on chevy and GMC (i could be wrong). If its a long bed there were 2 long beds available, 8 ft, and 9 ft beds. |

A local junkyard has a 42 chevy, and I don't know if it's what you're looking for. I didn't pay much attention to it, and also don't know what shape it's in. If it's something you (or anyone else) is interested in, I can go take some pictures.
