is there one on the fuse block? i need power with key on acc, off, and run for my radio to keep the memory (clock and pre-sets).

or should i run a wire to the battery with a 20 amp inline fuse?

Re: constant power fuse

I don't think these trucks had a takeoff in the fuse box for constant power. The only power out with the key in the acc/off/run positions is lights, cig lighter & 4way flasher? Why not tee in to the cig lighter power?

Re: constant power fuse

I pretty sure the cigar lighter tap on the fuse block is hot all times. the other point would be at the top of the block just below the fuel gauge tap, it should have a pigtail connected to it.

Re: constant power fuse

Matt - Does that stay hot during crank? It MAY shut off during the starter cranking mode. Just check before you go too far.

no sir i will not be checking that soon. i don't want to kill the engine, never been fired. it has no oil pressure, just sitting there all pretty until the truck gets painted, also no gas tank until then. i guess i could disconnect the starter, but it's tricky and i'll leave it for now.
