Power Steering ?

i just picked up a p/s boz and pump for my 72 and was wandering if i have to shorten or change out the column. Any info will help

No column mods. But, you will need the pitman arm and the rag joint coupler for the power steering box though. They are different than manual steering boxes use.

also, you might need to notch your bumper support bracket on the driver's side to accomodate for the new box. i just found out (thanks, Tim) this weekend that the later model trucks like the 72 had a different shaped bumper support bracket, so it might not affect you.

I had to clearance the core support mounting bracket on the drivers side to clear the end of the gear box also had to dimple my frame to give me the extra clearance needed for the side of the gearbox body. But the steering colum should fit just fine.
