I spent $500 at their booth I did get their last driving light front bumper (display model) for $150.

I MISS CARLISLE! My dad and I used to go to the all truck nationals. Kind of a long drive from SC now I used to live in SW NY. In my opinion carlisle is still THE BEST swap meet I have ever been to. I was a little dissappointed with charlotte, but I still got what I needed. (my disappointment was that there was almost jack squat for used parts)

I will be there on Saturday also. Just looking for odds and ends for the project truck. It will be my last trip there for a few years while I am overseas. I will miss that place.

I go on Wed,lots of dealin`goin`on.I let my spaces to a guy,not into sellin`these days. But I always keep one or two vendor passes.I try not to buy anything I can get through a catalog, unless it`s a steal or something I wouldn`t want to ship.I can`t wait!

Re: Carlisle, Pa.

Leave early. I'm about 70 miles from there and I plan on leaving the house around 4:00AM. I don't want to get stuck on that Pa turnpike Carlisle exit. I know where there's a good place to park. After you get off the Carlisle exit and heading to the fairgrounds, turn right at the 2nd light and go till you see the RV parking. I have never had any problems parking there, and it's right near the rear entrance to the grounds. Maybe we can all meet up on Saturday and the grandstand around noon.

Re: Carlisle, Pa.

I always go to the Gm Nationals with my wagon.
I had planned to go to the Truck Nationals this year also.
Are there more parts and vendors at the Spring show than at the other shows?

Re: Carlisle, Pa.

Spring and fall are the biggest overall. To many to stop at each one in one day.The rest of the shows are a Little more specialized.

Re: Carlisle, Pa.

Both are about the same.....completely filled up with vendors. I was told years back, that there is 16 Miles worth of walking, and I believe it. Have your walking shoes ready. Also, take some pain killers for your feet and back. I used to sell there back in 1980 and 81 and the spaces were $40.00 each. Now, I saw spaces go for $10,000 sub-leased, and people buy them. That's "Stupid" money. It's had as hell to get a space to sell there. What I always found pretty cool, is that the kids wonder around with their wagons, and charge you a few dollars to take your parts back to your car/truck. Saves on the carrying.....
