N.E. members - road trip???

I just won a 72 4X4 Burb with factory tilt (floor shift), tach, and am/fm on eBay. One problem - it's in Massachusetts and I'm in Alabama. The seller told me before it ended that he would ship just the column, radio, and dash and keep the rest. I just hate to leave the rest of it there when legally, it's mine. Is ANYONE traveling with a trailer to the southeast soon? The guy said he would hold it through the summer. I will pay a fair price to someone that's coming this way anyway, just wont be worth it to shell out $1,500+ to a carrier company. Thanks
Joshua
