250 I6 Hei swap timming
Ok I have a 250 Im puttin in sunday, what timing Do i need to set the motor at with the HEI swap. Ive looked and looked, but all I find is the timing for a v8.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Basically you'll want to advance it 'till it pings then back it off a bit. Probably around 8-10* when you're done.

Same here, run it as advanced as you can without it clattering under a load.
BTW, you will love the results of HEI on your 6 cylinder. It's like a new engine.
