67 C-10 with a Cummins 4BT? Anyone done it?
I saw a post were someone here was thinkin about stuffin a Cummins 4bt into a 67 c-10. Ever since reading that I have been curious and looking into it. I was just wondering if anyone on here has done this if so how hard was it and what do you think of your results pics etc...... Thanks all

I think member charlieo is swapping one into a K10, I don't know about C10's. I don't think it would be very hard at all, seeing how some of the bread van retrofits have everything you need to put one in a chevy frame, including motor mounts and a transmission adapter.
The only problem is the 4bt's arent exactly given away, and you're probably gonna need a rebuild....bread trucks lead rough lives.

I will be doing this swap eventually, but probably not for another 6 to 12 months from now. Check out the cummins4BT yahoo group, the cummins conversion forum on trd1.com, and search for "4bt" on dovebid.com to find a junked step van for a donor truck.
