WTB: 67-70 Mirror backing plates
I bought a new set of 67-70 style mirrors and they didn't come with backing plates and the place I bought them from (Truck Shop) doesn't have them listed in their catalog (that I saw) and I found them on a vendors site, but they are a tick on the high side in price. Does anyone have a decent used set? Prefer ones that don't have messed up screw threads and rust holes. some rust ok. I also believe there is a difference between left and right.... sooooo..... anyone have any used ones???
Thanks

easliy made also, I made one for my passenger side add-on -- $8 each is not a bad price

Re: WTB: 67-70 Mirror backing plates
Thanks for the chevy duty tip 70chevyfreak, if no one comes up with a used set by tomorrow I think I'll order from them, that's about half of what I found them for earlier.
I'd wouldn't mind trying to make them except I have no material or time to do it (have to drive 2 hours to columbia to work on truck and I only have friday night to midday sunday to work on it.) Not a lot of extra time to be fabricating parts

Re: WTB: 67-70 Mirror backing plates
Thanks for the help, I ordered from Chevy Duty. They also had the step fender welt I've been looking for!
