Smile Part:2 of my 68' Chevorlet c10 shortbed stepside truck 2wd project!

I have got the parts back from the powder coater except for the frame I will be picking that up next week sometime!! Here are a couple of pics of the upper and lower control arms, brake dust covers(cardboard tapped in the center to keep it from gettin powder coated, havent taken it all off), and bumper brackets! I have much more that is being powder coated but this is just a heads up what its gonna look like!! The powder coated color is called Siver Vain, its a texture color! I also got a clear over the Siver Vain to give it a extra protection from chipping and to give it a more cleaner look!! The whole frame is being done in this color as well!!

that looks great, you may have a hard time installing your cross shafts ends in the upper arms if there is powder coating in the threads.

That is just sick...I love it. The only problem I see is when you drag frame it is all going to come off! LOL!

Thanks stllookin, but its not gonna drag on anything!! This truck is only gonna be a weekend toy or just to cruz around town once in a while, I would make it a daily driver but I cant afford 80 bucks in gas in 3 days!! Lol but hey for 300 bucks everything done the whole frame etc cant beat that price!! Thanks for the comment though!! Dustin S.

Powder coated frame and hardware for $300! Great deal! Did that include the sandblasting?

That looks sweet. I wonder if I can find someone in my area to do that for some parts on my truck, it would look great considering you can see all of the suspension since its a 4x4. Cant wait to see it all together.

There is a new powdercoating shop just opened in Weatheford. It's a block behind Weatheford Truck Accesories on FW Hwy.

Re: Part:2 of my 68' Chevorlet c10 shortbed stepside truck 2wd project!

Honestly it took me 2 days to gut the whole frame pop out 75 original rivets and to gut the rearend out!! Took it to the powder coater and got it blasted, powder coated Silver Vain and clear coated!! The frame should be done some time next week I will have pics on that ASAP!! I need to get my drop spindles, drop coils, upper and lower cross shafts, front and rear sway bar with brackets, rear trailing arm U-bolts, and motor mounts in a color called Hammered Blue!!
