making progress

Just thought I'd post a pic so it can be seen that I am actually making progress on my project!

rear main support

This is the piece I asked about last Jan. or Feb. if anybody made repops or anybody even knew about it. I learned the hard way. I removed mine (70 or 80 spot welds to drill (not brill) out) and lots of rebuilding. I fabbed most of the pieces and used aftermarket outer cab supports. It was a lot of work to rebuild but I think I will have a better than when new because I used much heavier guage matal to do the rebuild. BTW this piece is shown upside down to what it is when installed.

Yes, Fabman, but I am very slow at what I do. I guess I must have a lot of patience although my wife tells me I don't - although that's mainly for other things- hehe.

This is kind of neat. I just learned Saturday how to downsize pics and now I learn how easy it is to post them on the new board! Fun!

Thanks again for recent replies. I will post more pics as I proceed. I don't have a digi cam so have to wait for snapshots and scan them.
