Need help with insurance application - restoration costs
I'm applying for Hagerty collector car insurance. Since I have a modified engine in the truck, the application asks for the breakdown of all costs associated with the truck. My problem is that I bought the truck restored, so I'm not sure how I should allocate $13,000 over the following categories.
Body Parts Cost: Labor Cost:Paint / Detailing Parts Cost: Labor Cost:Frame / Chassis Parts Cost: Labor Cost:Interior Parts Cost: Labor Cost:Stereo and Electronic Equipment Parts Cost: $600 Labor Cost: $100Thanks for the help! Pete

Re: Need help with insurance application - restoration costs
Perhaps you should call Hagerty and state the situtation to one of the underwriters or whoever you can get to speak to you. They are probably well-versed on the issue and may wave a magic wand over it and solve your problem.
cheers! |

Re: Need help with insurance application - restoration costs
My son took his 55 bel-air to an appraisor. The insurance company required it It was mine and after the years i forgot how much I had in it and then he put another $20,000 grand into it. They may not dispute an appraisor
