67-72 Custom Ext. Cab?????
Anyone ever built or seen one. I am thinking of this as a project for my LWB truck. Putting a stepside bed on, and butchering another cab for the extension. Any pics would be nice if you have some.
Had a buddy years ago who's dad was building one (3/4 ton), but Cancer got him before he could complete it. The truck was sold in E.Tx years ago. Don't know where it went. Anyone seen it? If memory serves me it had a late model dually bed on it though. Jay

Re: 67-72 Custom Ext. Cab?????
There was also one in a mag two years or so ago.where this guy even extended the cab in the middle because he was tall. He did the doors glass and everthing. The article said that a retired gm exec happened to be at the car show and he new something was wrong with the truck but couldn't figure out what. until he told him what he had done. He even moved the dashboard back. It was a cool looking truck.

Here is a link to another extended cab with a custom short bed. I believe this was built back in 1967.
