Help for 1966 chevy panel? *edited by mod*

Hello everyone, I am new to this board and hope I am posting in the correct area. I have recently aquired a 1/2 ton 1966 chevy panel. The gas tank is leaking and I was wondering if one of the under the bed conversion tanks would bolt in in place of the original.

As for the fuel tank, the kits will work, but usually require some work to install. I know from experience that GMC Pauls will be able to answer your question about what has to be done to install the tank in your truck.

Leaking from where?

If you just have a gas smell in the cab, without a specific location for the leak - it is probably the rubber portion of the gas filler tube. You can get a new one from the online places or get one (rated for gas, not a radiator hose) from Napa. I've bought one from Napa before, so I know they carry it. You may have to "convince" the counter guy though.
