Need Help! Correct P/S and A/C brackets-pics please

Anyone have pictures of correct stock power steering and A/C brackets on a 350? I'm having a hard time finding all the correct brackets to make the pulleys line up with each other. I have double groove pulley on the water pump, double on the power steering pump and a triple on the crank. I'm starting to think the water pump is incorrect but everthing lined up before I put the stock A/C compressor on it. The compressor and brackets came off a '80 GMC with a 350 but I didn't grab the power steering brackets. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW- this is on a '74 chevy k/20 with a 350 engine.

On which side of the engine is your AC compressor?

I don't know how much this will help, if any at all, but check these photos out. They are from my '86:

There are about 23 photos. Just keep changing the file number in your browser... ac1.jpg, ac2.jpg, ac3.jpg, etc.

Slonaker- THanks for the pictures but I have the older style compressor (long black one). I'm not sure if it makes a difference in the bracketry though. I know the compressor brackets are different than yours. THanks

Method2mymadness-Mine is in the stock position on the driver's side above the power steering pump.

see if these help any...it's a 454 but i would think (but i'm known to think wrong) the belts go to basically the same places, assuming your engine is not smog equipped.

magnethead- thanks for the pictures but only those from a small block will work because I mainly need pics of the correct brackets. I'm having a hard time getting the correct brackets on the power steering pump. THanks again.

Re: Need Help! Correct P/S and A/C brackets-pics please

Anyone else have pictures? I'm still trying to make it work, I have about 8 different sets of brackets now and still can't get the power steering to line up and now the A/C compressor isn't lined up with the intake manifold bracket. This weekend I'll be at the Iola Old Car Show on Friday so hopefully I can find something there too but anything will help.

Re: Need Help! Correct P/S and A/C brackets-pics please

Thanks guys but I got it figured out. The power steering pump wouldn't straighten out, so I went to the junkyard and I stumbled over a front half of a '74 K/20 with the motor still sittin in the frame and it had every bracket with compressor still on it. So I grabbed the compressor, power steering pump and all the brackets I could with all the hardware too. Well, the power steering bracket that bolts to the water pump was missing a small spacer between the pump and bracket, which is behind the pulley. So all I needed was a little spacer and it's all fixed now. I took all my brackets off and put all the junkyard ones on so it's a matched set now and it all lines up perfectly. I even got lucky and it had the v-belts rusted into the pulley grooves so now I have belts to compare to the new ones I have to buy. Thanks again guys!!
