Wiring in side markers on 69

Can someone post a wiring diagram of how to do this. My truck came without the pigtails and I bought new side markers. I know the backs are on all the time and dont flash but the fronts flash when the signals flash.

Re: Wiring in side markers on 69

Some of them have blinking front side markers, some don't. I have yet to find a reason why or why not, I did a polll 3 years ago or so and it seemed (IIRC) 75% of them blinked.
Anyways....
For the rear, you just need to ground one leed to the sheetmetal, and the other lead goes to the broen wire in the harness.
Up front, if you want steady burning lights, wire it the same, one ground, one to the brown wire. If you want them to flash, then take the 2 wires, and wire them to the 2 wires goign to the front parking light/turn signal. No ground needed.
The way it works, is the parking light will apply power, and the signal light is turned off, and acts as a ground. When the blinker turns on, the side marker will turn off when the front signal light flashes on.

OK I want the front to blink, but don't they blink opposite to the front turn signal. I know the 73-87 do this.

If i wire them like you say then they will blink the same as the fronts do, Simutanously

no, if you wire them this way, it'll blink oposite of the front ones.
