Question ebrake cable layout

well i am now trying to hook up the ebrake on my 72 chevy 2wd swb p/u. would you guys be able to tell me how the cable(s) run along the frame & where the cable support rods go on the frame???? iam also having difficulty with reconnecting the cable from the cab to the rest of the cable run(where the nut & curved bracket attach on driver's side) if there might be someones pics available from when they did it that would be a big help as well!!!

I have a 72 parts truck sitting outside with the cab removed I will see if I can grab you a couple of good pics in a few minutes.

This may or may not help. This is from LMC online catalog p 143. It will show better if you view through the catalog.

Re: ebrake cable layout

hey guys,
thanks for the info. yea i have the catalog(S) & i basically have it routed ,but i seem to be about 4" short of being able to connect it all. i have replaced the rear with a rear disc brake kit from cpp & i purchased the e-brake cable kit to prevent this, but it seems to not have helped so i was trying to find someone who has done a similar setup to see what they had to do...

thanks again!

anymore help????

Re: ebrake cable layout

I have the same rear brakes on my 72 short bed and I had to shorten the cable for it to work. I live in Scottsdale if you need to see how I installed the e brake PM me and we could make arrangements for you to look at mine.
