Heater Box Removal
do you have to pull the fender off to get the heater box out?

I'm fairly certain you have to remove the inner fender to get to one of the bolts...

A set of 1/4 drive swivel sockets makes getting that lower right fastener off a little easier, yep, should not require removing the inner fender on non a/c trucks, if you have a real long and skinny arm, it is possible to reach up from the bottom of the fender to get that little bugger off also.

Yup, 1/4" socket set with a long extension and a swivel. No problem.

I have a non-ac truck and I removed all the top bolts/nuts easily the last one I broke lol. The only thing I took off to get it out of the engine compartment was the pass. side hood hinge so I could slide it out of the firewall lip. Hope this helps somewhat.
