I'm not too sure if that is black... looks like it might be a REALLY dark green???

Beautiful ride! I really like the grill. Looks a lot different with the bars instead of the plastic inserts.

Re: my other truck

Very nice. That is the first (least that I can remember) with a grill like that. I think it looks really god. Did you custom make that or is it one you can buy?

Re: my other truck

It does sorta look green but I think it's black too. Either way that is one fine truck!

Re: my other truck

the color is a dark green from the late 60's Corvette.with a little bit of pearl add in.as for the grill i took the original grill and stripped it down then completly polished it, then i purchased a billit grill insert for a 71/72 c-10 and just cut the center out and it fit perfectly with a little bit of fabfication.the windows are 1 piece Brothers Kit with power. it has an Early calssic 4/6 drop with 4 wdisc.it started out as just an engine swap and then it ended up as a complete frame up build. you can see more pictures at [URL="http://www.classicperform.com"] they are located in the cutomers rides.thanks again for all the positive feed back. Re: my other truck

Tony,
Sweet looking ride you got there! I like the nice touch that the high polish grill gives the truck. Great stance on the truck too! On those mirrors with your Brothers one-piece windows, are those Billet Specialties? They look similar to mine. If so, I know what a pain they were to mount on the filler pieces!

There's something about those short steppers. When you get the stance just right, they look like they are "stalking".

Re: my other truck

Hey you guys,i will post some more pictures later this week. it seems all my pictures are too big to be posted so i need to turn down the resolution on my camera. i am currently building a 1970 K-5 4x4, it is on it's way to being a 2wd. it started off as a very clean truck we will see where it go's from here. i also might be selling the step side soon .i am the second owner and i have had it for over 12years . i think it's time to focus on my other projects and free up some funds to complete them.as for the mirriors they are Billit Specialty mirriors and they where a little hard to install ,but it turned out just as i had hoped it would.hey Subtle71 you got a cool looking truck, and you are right, with the right stance and the clean look on the stepsides you can't go wrong. good luck you guys with your projects. Thanks, Tony Auburn Ca

the orange truck is the before, and the two fine examples are the the possible after. oh yea!
