Talking Dads 72 Short Step

I was visiting the family in Colorado over the past few weeks and finally got some pics of dad's truck. He has had it for 4 years and has done a lot of custom work to it although he bought it in great shape to begin with. I have owned 7 of these trucks over the past 10 years and for the first time I got to feel cold A/C. What a great feeling!

Re: Dads 72 Short Step

Thanks guys, I am sue dad will like the feedback. The family lives in Aurora. I am not sure of the exact color. My dad bought the truck from a custom shop oustide of St Louis and I dont know if they painted it of sent it out. It sure does look good though.
As for the blazer, well, I am looking for a real cheap 3/4 ton 4x4 to do an axle swap with. When I pulled the cover off of the rear end, there was more water than oil and the carrier was corroded from sitting for a few years. The ring also has some nasty hooks on the end of the teeth from inproper alignment.

Re: Dads 72 Short Step

Optima is not a bad idea at all. Unfortunately, dad is talking about selling the truck. He has a 69 Camero that is in just as good of shape and only has the patience for one. I told him if he sells it, we need to offer it here on the board first. I am trying to help him figure out a price if he does sell it. Do you guys have any idea what a truck in this shape should go for?
