Re: WTB-orange highlander plaid material

c10crazy. this came in 72 for sure and i'm not sure about 71 custom deluxe trucks with a highlander or special promotional package. you could get avocado(green), orange, blue, or black and white inserts with a white vinyl border. the link given above say they have some of all and it is $85 a yard and takes 1 1/4 yards to insert the seats.

this was a 72 only special promotion to move trucks before the new 73 models arrived.

Re: WTB-orange highlander plaid material

Yeah, and before political correctness came along, being a tight-wad was associated with the Scottish.Never heard them crying about it,though.Anyway, they were known as frugal so savings and good deals got to be one in the same.
All Highlanders used Parchment vinyl with one of the four "matched to the exterior" plaids. When I make my covers,I`m going with color vinyl.I may put orange plaid inserts in a pair of saddle CheyenneSuper bucket covers I have for a Red-Orange truck if I decide to stay original paint. On another truck I`m using Olive,so I want the green plaid inserts.I like hybrids.
