ball joint help

i bought upper and lower ball joints from oriellys they they weren't the moog brand .when i went to put the stock spindel on i couldn't get to go all the way in on both top and bottom there wasn't but 2 or 3 threads sticking through the spindel i put on the nut and tighted on but still wouldn't go down. i searched old threads where they had almost the same problem on some aftermarket spindels they ground down the nut but i need to go down a lot more. has any body had this problem if so whats the fix

THANKS JOHNNY

Re: ball joint help

We have covered this before...There are places you can save a buck and places where it is just a bad decision to buy anything but the best. This is one of them. Re-placing ball joints is a labor intensive job and when you finish you want the best parts you can buy so they don't break on you 6 months down the road and you have to go through this whole process again. Take those junk parts back and insist on Moog or TRW.
