HeadLights
I am looking for new headlights for my 72 chev. I would light to go to a halegon over the stockers. I have all ready done the realy upgrade using heavy wiring so I can handle the power. I am just wondering which lamps fit our trucks and maybe part number if you have them. I have found this on the 73-87 section (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ght=headlights) and wondering if they will work. Also are chevy lights call 7 inch or 7.5 inch lights. Thanks

Re: HeadLights
I have the halogens from LMC and they work great, opted for blue bulbs, makes them look like all them fancy peoples cars's lights

Re: HeadLights
Save yourself some bucks and go to WAL-MART!!! I bought my halogen lamps for my truck there. They are plenty bright and look original. The euro lights look cool but are expensive. I think wally world has the halogens for 8 or 9 bucks each. I don't know about the size, but bring an old light to wally world with you, I think they only sell one size thats fits these trucks.
(make sure you buy the ones with both high AND low beam, they do sell low beam only ones too! and you don't want those! It will say on the side of the box which they are.) The pic is with low beams on during the day. I have not yet done the wiring upgrade (which I hope to do soon).

Re: HeadLights
I think they are wanting lights that can have the bulb replaced and not a sealed beam (which I think is all wally world carries). I have them in our Jeep and in the K10. I bought them off Ebay pretty reasonably. I think you can do a search for h4 conversion or simulated HID and they should show up for you.

Re: HeadLights
We've got tri-bar lights in our 72. They were bought at Carlisle last year for my father-in-law's 41 Chevy, but he found something he liked better for his car. They were about $60 for the pair. They take a replaceable H4 halogen capsule. They are much brighter than a standard sealed beam. They are flat-faced, instead of curved like a regular sealed beam bulb.
