Last set. This shows Livrat receiving the Grand Prize. A Brother's single piece side window kit.

OUTSTANDING! I was waiting for my ride ORENCE1 and he called and said he was "on the hook" in Kirkland...something about a bad MSd dizzy cap. Looks like some great rides there! I recognized americanrider's and LIVRAT's. What other board members brought their trucks?

It was a great show... Thanks Wes!!! there was a bunch of cool trucks and great conversation..

LUV2XCLR8.. I peeked under that yellow truck.. the owner mounted trailer fenders to the spindles and rear axle. It was interesting to seen the front ones turn with the wheels when it left the show
There was some speculation as to "why".. From keeping the inner fenders clean to reducing road noise.. but I thinks its called "dare to be different" never did get to ask the owner

OIC, That is different for sure, maybe it cuts down on rock dings also ?

The yellow truck with the interesting fenders also had a power rear window that rolled up & down. It looked ok but it did not fit at the top corners & had about a 1/8" or so gap that seemed like water would get in.The guy said it was a kit that is no longer made.(fit issues?)

Thanks guys, I think that everyone had a good time. Steve Blake was there from these and my boards, that is his blue short box GMC. The show gets a little larger every year, and if I advertize a little better maybe it will be real large next year. We will have to see how it goes. Maybe start some preregistrations for next year. Anyway I am glad that you enjoyed the pictures. WES

Hey Mark, what did you do to win the window kit, best burnout with a
4X4????????? After going for a ride in it I m sure it can be done.

I hear you back into the oldies again, good to see a couple more trucks being saved on the west coast.

Darren.. LOL.. burnout?? who me?.. I just put on new 35's on last week.. I just couldn't do that.. But will admit just before the new shoes I did do a test burnout with the old Coopers.. Was a bit disappointed.. it only smoked em about halfway thru second gear.. but then I had to back out of it I was running out of road..
Yes... I am back into oldies knee deep once again.. I guess the passion never leaves.. Doing a frame off on a 72 Sierra Grande 3/4t 4x4 and a 68 Shorty, Havent touched the Suburban for quite awhile, And have two Blazers waiting to "fall down" and become 2wd's
How's the motorhome coming? ready to send it back??

I might have to go to that show next year. Wes, how far are you from Vancouver B.C? My daughter lives there and I could stay with her some of the time to cut down the trip cost.

Thanks again guys. I realy hope everyone was having a good time. Most everybody stayed the full 6 hours of the show. Already Gone, we are 70 miles south of Seattle.
I am going to try to do some better planning for next year, and hopefully get the attendance up to over 100 trucks!! I am going to try for more prizes too!! I have started to consider awards for different catigories also, but am undecided about that. I know that when I leave a show that I feel wasn't judged right, that I do not return the next year. My shows have always been about having fun, comroddery (spell) and leaving inspired to work on your truck. WES
