A/C Center Vent
I am installing A/C into my 72 orange and white and well I am getting ready to cut out for the vents. I am thinking of not installing the center vent. The reason is my 72 green and white has A/C and I am not really impressed with the center vent( air flow and the extra vent hose). So I was wandering has anyone converted there truck to A/C and just installed the outter vents? DO yoy like it? and would you do it again without the center vent? Thanks for any help.

Re: A/C Center Vent
when i did the a/c conversion i used an aftermarket center that mounts under the dash and has vents that you can move left and right (as opposed to the factory with no horizontal adjustment). and you dont have to cut a hole in the dash

Re: A/C Center Vent
I am not a big fan of the under dash vents. To me they just dont look right. But I bet they do work better than the oe ones. LIke I said earlier the one in my green and white doesnt work that well. Even after installing a new diverter box. THe side vents I am happy with. Thanks for the info.
