The real pain is that he wll probably cut up a few more grilles getting headlight surrounds.

That is SO wrong!

I wonder if it has a SB chevy motor in it too. Seems most customized older Fords I see at car shows lately run Chevy small blocks in them.

the vast majority of all hot rods run sbc. their cheap, availibilty of parts, and reliability. What more could you want for your rod, you can get just about anything imaginable(sp) for a sbc.
as for the furd, I like the doors and the bedsides but the front clip has got to go, looks better with the right grill on it imo

not bad. the only thing i can really say that i dont like is the jog in the body line on the door otherwise i think it will turn out pretty well. it does need something to break up the HUGE hood though.

Yeah, here we are worrying about the differences between 67/68 core supports and 69/72 for headlight location, then along comes this guy.
Just nobody go puttin`a FlOoReD grille in a Chevy.Nevermind, who would do that?I can see trying to make a FlOoReD look better. But,why would anyone want to make a Chevy ugly?

Good looking truck you might say...until you see the little blue oval inside the bowtie on the tailgate......It's body is there, but it's heart is gone

Re: i like old chevys and old furds, but at the same time?

That's a freakin' abomination!!!

I sure hope that those are dents in the center of it, because I would die if someone stitch welded to a clean grill!!

But I guess if the right filling is done around the fenders and hoods, it could be a very subtle custom. Remember, putting GM body parts on Fords, and Ford body parts on GMs has been around as long as there have been customs.
