Best Deal On TTII's ?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ameri...29855282QQrdZ1
I know everybody has them, but I can't find a wheel I like better than Torq Thrust II's. Where is the best place to buy them? I don't know if I can do better than this E-bay auction I had the seller set up. I'm looking into 18x8's and 20x10's. Opinions Please. ![]()

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
I have to agree with you Wink. I have looked and looked until my eyes bled and even though I see them on quite a few rides and have heard some people basically say "anyone can slap a set of torques on a truck and call it custom" I REALLY like them. That being said I have looked here and there and the BEST price I have found, other than craigslist jewels, are on Ebay. Im getting a set of 17s for about $850 and anywhere else they go for around $1,200!!

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Man.... I've seen you all over 66 the last month (@ least once every weekend!).
That's actually a decent price on those wheels & the offsets are right. If the feedback is a true indication, it seems as though he's a reputable dealer. They will look good & will still look good years down the road when current designs are 'old'. Remember Boyds first designs on his billet offerings? How outdated do they look today? Not the TorqThrust. In Thrust We Trust.

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Another thing to consider is that in 3 years a replacement wheel will be available if you happen to mess one up. Too many companies stop manufacturing wheel styles and if one gets bent up, only option is to find a used one.

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Well, I bit the bullet. I went by Discount Tire today and told them about my E-Bay deal and they matched it within just a few bucks. Turn around on custom TTII's is about 6 weeks, so I will post up some pics then. I copied Danny Ewings tire sizes, I hope he doesn't mind. I ordered 18x8's w/ 5" B.S. wrapped in Nitto 255/55/18 and 20x10's w/ 5" B.S. , Nitto 295/50/20. I think it's gonna look Sick!

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Holy crap!!! I just called American Racing (Harahan, LA) and got he prices on your wheel choice.
18x8 retails for $375 each 20x10 retails for $500 each (so retail is normally $1750 for that set) As per the American Racing rep, turn around time should be 3 weeks or less...so you have an additional 3 weeks in there somewhere?!?! Now, your $1239 ebay deal is a great price....but I can only assume he is having these shipped directly from American Racing. And they drop ship for FREE....so the shipping was 100% profit. The wholesale price for your setup is $1224. So the e-bay guy is making $15 on the wheels and $90 on shipping. Not knocking the seller...as he is just barely above wholesale, but he is making his money off of shipping charges.

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
That's where I purchased mine from. I bought them way back when (after they just started making the 20's). FWIW, they told me 6wks & I had them @ home on the truck in less than 2!

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Thanks for this post wink_tim I've been looking for a decent price on these for months now. I think I will order them from ebay since I don't have a local discount tire . 18x8 & 20x10 thats me.

Re: Best Deal On TTII's ?
Just FYI for backspacing questions of anyone not looking to BAG their truck, but go BIG on the wheels. I am running 20x8.5 on 255/45-20 front and 20x10 on 295/45-20 rear with 4.5 in drop (2.5in spindles and 2in springs) in front and 5in drop springs in rear. The BS on the front is 5in and 5.5in rear. I have absoluely no rubbing whatsoever from full turn to turn.
