What you guys think of...
Taking out my 350 and putting in a 350 stroker and putting performance parts on it? Heads Carb Cam Intake...Really the works...

If your going to use the 400 crank, why not use the block as well. 406, wityh .030over. I run one in my Blazer and it kicks ass. The next one I'm going for is a 427 small block Ofset grind the crank and use small journal rods and your there.

Or,for a "quick-revver",do the opposite and build a 355.I like the stroked little rats.Just remember a stroked motor on the hiway is movin`those pistons more.Prolly not an issue on these trucks.But,a Harley motor won`t last as long stroked if you hit the hiway with it alot.
Don`t think I`m detering the use of strokers one bit.I have one I built and if I buy a crate it`ll be the Fast Burn 383.
