Re: I made a movie...tell me what you think...

It's a 355 (2 bolt)
Blue racer cam and lifters
AED 750 carb
Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads
aluminum flat top pistons
roller rockers
electric fan
aluminum pulleys and brackets

The carb has never been adjusted the way it should be...the timing has never been set the way it's supposed to be....i'm having a 350 automatic w/shift kit and B&M floor shift installed next week I think once we get the tranny put in and everything adjusted right.....it's gonna be one fast machine oh and i need POSI! or a locker? hmmm. Here is a recent pic of the motor with a little dirt on it.

It starts out as posi but if you let off the gas the least little bit...it goes back to single trac. cant remember the specs on the cam....i'll look everything up later
thanks for all the good comments guys! i wish the motor looked a little cleaner but it's far from finished

Cool Video!!!! Good job on the motor. Your truck reminded me of Longhorn Mans old SWB. It was painted the same.

It's a Professional Products Hurricane intake. It has gas stains on it from the carb spitting...gotta get it adjusted

Re: I made a movie...tell me what you think...

Do you have a 3.73 rear ?, you'll love the turbo 350 with the straight shift rear gears. Useless without a posi but man what tire smoke. Does anyone know if a car 12 bolt posi unit will fit in our trucks.

Re: I made a movie...tell me what you think...

We got the tranny in today and finished! I'm so happy with this automatic....HUGE difference! Now we just cant get the carb adjusted right....or it's something to do with the distributor? ordering a new billet distributor...fuel pump...fuel inlet...fuel lines and filter next. we WILL figure out the problem
