Re: How are rare are cargo lights?????
I don't know if they are rare or not but my K10 has one and my C10 doesn't. I have heard that all Cheyennes or Super Cheyennes had them. Just a point of interest, that light is also a back up light for a 69 RS Camaro. That's why it has such a thick rubber gasket, it was originaly designed for another vehicle.

Re: How are rare are cargo lights?????
they were installed on about 1/2 the 69 CST trucks, all the 70 CST, then all the 71/72 cheyenne and supers.
I wouldn't call it rare... no. |

Re: How are rare are cargo lights?????
The Camaro thing is also why some have wiring that exits the passenger side of the housing and some exit the drivers side. If you wanted your wires to exit a specific side you could order a backup light from a Camaro catalog to get the correct one (LH or RH).
