ignition help, I think
A couple of months ago I replaced the ignition switch in my truck b/c when I turned it it would do nothing, no click nothing, but battery was hot, so put in the new ignition and it worked ok for a while, now i cant get it to turnover, no click, nothing, no buzz either, battery is hot, is this a ground problem, and pointers would be great.

Re: ignition help, I think
When nothing is coming on(check head lights) then start at the battery and work your way up looking for a bad connection. If you have lights then try this
------------------------------------------------------------------------- With the truck in "park or neutral" use a screwdriver to jump the solenoid, go from the "Bat" terminal(+ from the battery) to the "Sol" purple wire. this will bypass all wireing in the dash. If this doesnt work then you have either starter or battery connection troubles. |

Re: ignition help, I think
Use a jumper on the purple wire to bypass the switch

Hay I used the jumper on mine to fix it permently. I hate those things. I know there there for safety but I could care less. IT is up to you if it is your neutral safety switch. Replace it or bypass it.
