Thanks for the welcome and help with my starter issue
After ripping our ignition wires and replacing the HEI coil and cap along with battery and clables and much dirt in my eyes, it turn out the new starter i put in, bought from skip white ent. on ebay was and is bad. (They are sending me a new one and they were very nice about it.)
So i guess the lesson in this is to never assume the new part you put in wll fix the problem, the problem may lie in the new part. thanks again to all. I am new here but love it and plan to use the forum like a crack whore during my complete makeover. I'll be sending pics along the way. |
