That seriously looks like some deranged person was trying to cut out a bowtie in that dash! What is wrong with people?

NO I saw one that looked like it had been done with vise grips, looked like a bomb had gone off in the dash. Picture torn metal protruding.

Time to fire up the welder and cutoff wheel. Looks like patch time. Like Krue mentioned UI have seen folks do worse. But a little time with the welder and some patches, you'll be good.

On a serious note, are you really doing this? Because I have 2 of these units and was wanting to put one in my 68. Since someone already hacked up my dash, as bad as if not worse than that one. Well at least they finished all there cutting and made it square.

Yes sir, i'm going to do it. I have a 2005 C/K 1500 ext cab truck at my disposal. So i'm taking the leather buckets and console out of it and putting it in my truck too.

I was considering a dash swap too, but I dont want to go that far. I'm going to put the '05 Headliner console in my truck though.
