What to use for fuel line

What kind of hard line can you use for fuel line? Is there specific hard fuel line?

You can go to the parts store and buy 3/8ths steel fuel line in various lenght with the fittings already on. Buy a bending tool or use an old pulley and bend as needed.

I've also used aluminum line that I bought from Summit and polished it. It looks really nice. A friend of mine used stainless and it was a pain to bend.

Since I am installing a fuel cell I am pretty sure that I am going to need 2 runs of line. How would I connect the two together?
