HELLO GROUP!
Was wondering if someone can tell me the interchangeability of longbeds? I have a 69 C-10 and was wondering if later year beds will fit. I have a chance to get an 80 but want to make sure it will be swappable. I understand the rear end may look different, I plan on customizing that anyway!

Scott, I have seen a truck in my town like this. I don't know how hard it was to do, but it did not look good. I think I would spend the time to find the correct longbed. They aren't too hard to find.

I agree with raggedjim 100%. I have seen one on a reservation, and it looked horrible. None of the body lines matched at all, and the box looked to be wider at the top than ours. I'd try to find a 68-72 bed. A 67 will also fit, but will not have a reflector in the back, IIRC.
