Saskatoon Cruise weekend
Cruise weekend goes this weekend in Saskatoon and about a thousand vehicles and 40,000 people will be out to enjoy the event if the good weather holds. There are usually more than a few very sweet 67-72's as well as other vintage GM trucks to enjoy. LOTS and I mean LOTS of other vehicles of every imaginable make, year and model will also be out. Lots of good racing events and automotive related activites are also slated for the weekend. The alcohol funnies will be burning up the track at SIR.
Some of us members local to the region are going to get together on the weekend and are trying to co-ordinate a time that works best for the majority. If anybody is interested in meeting up with us get in touch with Me(StingRay) via e-mail or PM. It's going to be great weekend.

We will be there for sure. Are there any events for Friday and Saturday? So far,it looks like we will be in Saskatoon either Friday night or Saturday by lunch. Maybe we could get together for beers some night. I'm trying to get Tim to wait til saturday morning to leave as I don't think there is all that much happening on Friday... or am I wrong? We are Saskatoon Cruise Night virgins.
Any kind of scheduled events other than the funny cars that we should be prioritizing? Let us know. Thanks, Shawna |

I think it is a perfect night out tonite. Not too hot, not too cold and there is the sweet sound of wirring blower and cam gear drives in the air. I've seen some of our trucks, 36 Fords, 56 Chevy's and some other nice stuff already. It's going to be a greeeeaaaat weekend! Hope to meet up with some of the oldies I already know and maybe a few newbies.
