What is it worth? (3spd column, original wheel?)
I have this and someone is interested. Just wondering what a fair price is? This is the original wheel, dunno if it's the original horn cap or not, but ... 3 spd column, good shape, comes with intermediate shaft attached, all levers and other stuff. What is a fair price for this setup? $50-60 is on the table, I just want to make sure this is a fair deal both ways. Rubber firewall grommet is in excellent shape, btw.

Id say that sounds about fair. The straight 3 speed colums usally dont bring much because so little demand for them. But considering the condition sounds about right. If I was you I would take that offer. That would be my opinion.

Thanks, Aaron. Can I get a second opinion from any of you column experts out there? I am not looking to rake anyone over the coals, I just want to make sure the buyer feels good about it (I'm not looking to make a buck, I just want to help a guy drive his truck again).

Re: What is it worth? (3spd column, original wheel?)
as long as it doesn't bind when you try to shift it, your price is very reasonable-the wheel looks to be pretty nice shape too and if it's not cracked/worn it's worth more than 50-60 by itself. good shifting 3 speed columns are hard to find out here.

Re: What is it worth? (3spd column, original wheel?)
There are no major cracks I know of in the wheel, and it's had the leather cover on it since I bought the truck well over a year ago. It is a good shifting column - there was no binding and no problems with the previous linkage I was using. In fact, it was actually really damned smooth.
Thanks again.

I wouldn't take a dime less than $100 for it

Re: What is it worth? (3spd column, original wheel?)
I would think, as a 3-on-the-tree owner, $100 or better. It would also depend on the signal cam, wiring condition and whether the column is tight; bearing wise. These columns are VERY hard to come by. The wheel's worth quite a bit, too. It would be gratifying to give the guy a good deal on it.
