Clutch linkage question
I have a complete clutch linkage from a doner, but when I put the bell crank in place it seems way too close to the frame. I'm supposed to have a braket on the frame that the other ball attatches to right? The engine side has a bracket that bolts to my 327 with no problem, is there something I am doing wrong. Guy I got it from said it was out of a V8 truck. He was going to auto and I was going to 4-spd. Seemed like a good thing to get at the time. Any idea if I can buy a frame bracket anywhere? Also, any one have a diagram of how it all goes together? I had a Chiltons manual around, but it is missing now.

ya there is supose to be a braket that is riveted to the frame to hold the other end of the shaft I'm going to a TH350 so I'll have one in a little while other wise ask on the parts board or go to a bone yard.
