EFI fuel tank ????'s

I'm planning on putting a TBI motor in my 70 4x4 and also want to put the fuel tank under the bed. What options do I have for a fuel tank ???'s

1) Can I convert a vintage blazer tank to work with EFI ?

2) Are there any later model EFI fuel tanks that will fit ?

3) Does anyone make a fuel tank for this application ?

4) Any suggestions ?

Search the forum for "Fuelcellguy". Lots of info and pics of the setup he sells.

Form the searches I did when I first considered installing a TPI motor in my truck I compiled a few options.

1) Stock Blazer or Burb tank with an external pump. Possibly noisy and not as reliable.

2) S-10 Blazer tank. Small capacity but it fits with minor mods where the spare tire used to be and it has an in tank pump.

3) Ready made tank from Early Classic or one of the board vendors. Nice setup but might not be the most economical route and you still may have to buy the pump.

4) Custom made tank from FuelCellGuy (boardmember) complete with in tank pump, sending unit and made to fit right between the rails. Also not the most economical route but it is less expensive than most and he has a great reputation.

Another ? Do the aftermarket fuel cells have provisions for a stock fuel gauge or would I have to convert it to something else ?

Most of the aftermarket fuel cells come with a suitable sending unit already installed OR they have a provision to mount one. In the case of FuelCellGuy, he provides a sending unit with his tank. Base price on the tank is around $325 (I think) and he'll toss in an in-tank pump for another $300 or so.
