Draggn66, RE: door shim dimensions

Attached to this post is a drawing with the dimensions of the upper and lower door shims. We had ours made on a Lazer cutter which worked out well. (Unfortunately the machine is no longer in the state).

We used .100 thick stainless steel but CRS or HRS would work also. We chose the thickness of .100 but other thicknesses of shims could be made.

If someone decides to make these, I would buy some.

Re: Draggn66, RE: door shim dimensions

I'm looking into one of our sheet metal vendors either lazer or plasma cut a few sets. I know I could use some, it sure would make the job allot easier....

Cheers
Chad

Re: Draggn66, RE: door shim dimensions

Hey Jim thanks for posting this. I'm goin to try and make some but since I don't have any fancy equiptment I'm gonna have to do it old school with snips and a die grinder! Like Hart_Rod said, if anybody would mass produce them I'd be in for a set or two.
